Ace Race Parts 304 Stainless Steel sanitary style mandrel bends are a high quality, cost effective solution for header, exhaust, and downpipe builders. Available in 45° and 90° bends with outside diameters ranging from 1.250" to 4.000", Ace Race Parts mandrel bends are precision bent using a CNC mandrel bender in an ISO certified facility to ensure that the degree and centerline radius of each bend is consistent and free of defects. After the bending process is completed each mandrel bend is then de-burred and polished to a 600 grit finish to ensure a clean finish on the ends and surface. Ace Race Parts sanitary style mandrel bends are bent using ASTM A270 specification sanitary grade 304 stainless steel tubing (3A compliant) and are suitable for not only for automotive and industrial uses, but also for sanitary environments as well.

What is Tube and How is it Different from Pipe?

Tube size material is measured by the actual outside diameter (OD) and wall thickness. Whereas, Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) is
an industry designation, or "trade size", and it is does not reference the actual measured size of the material. Even the most experienced fabricators are sometimes confused by the industry's terminology and method of sizing. Tube size material is not compatible with pipe size material. Many times the words "pipe" and "tube" are use to describe straight lengths of material (eg: exhaust "piping"); however, the industry standard term for this material is "tube".

Note: Please be sure to verify that this tube size material meets the requirements of your project. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the compatibility of the items in their shopping cart. Ace Race Parts is not responsible for orders with mismatched or incompatible products.
