Our Quick-Release style V-Band Assemblies are precision CNC machined in an ISO 9001 certified facility and feature a 304 Stainless Steel Quick Release style V-Band Clamp and a set of 304 Stainless Steel interlocking "Male/Female" V-Band Flanges. V-Band Clamps and Flanges are an affordable and durable type of clamping system that is suited for high performance automotive, diesel, and industrial applications.

Our 304 Stainless Quick Release style V-Band Clamp utilize a quick release style latch that allows for quick assembly and disassembly in applications where frequent removal is required. Unlike our "standard" style V-Band Clamps, our Quick Release style V-Band Clamps feature a removable and replaceable T-Bolt section, should the user need to do so. 

Our "Male/Female" interlocking style V-Band Flanges feature a interlocking seating surface to ensure a leak-free seal without the need for a gasket and provides an easy way to align the flanges during installation. The interlocking seating surface, the area where the two flanges meet, makes fitment and installation a breeze even in tightest of areas. 

The weld side of our 304 Stainless V-Band Flanges are CNC machined with a counterbore to allow the matching tube size material to slip into the V-Band Flange and be welded in place. The V-Band Flange counterbore is machined to be 0.065" wide and allows for the inside diameter (ID) of 16 gauge wall thickness tube to align perfectly with the ID of the V-Band Flange without any restrictions or reductions.

Each V-Band Clamp Assembly includes one (1) Quick Release style V-Band Clamp, one (1) "Male" style interlocking V-Band Flange, and one (1) "Female" style interlocking V-Band Flange

NOTE: Our V-Band Clamps are supplied with two types of nuts: a Zinc plated metal lock nut and a 304 Stainless non-locking hex nut. The Zinc plated lock nut ensures that your clamp stays locked in placed during harsh conditions on the street, strip, and track. The 304 Stainless non-locking hex nut is provided so that the clamp can be used in mock-up, fitment, and pre-installation situations where a lock nut is not required. The non-locking hex nut will not lock in place during use to ensure that the threaded portion of the clamp will not be damaged. 

Disclaimer: Our 2-inch V-Band clamps are supplied with a lock nut and a standard non-locking hex nut. The metal lock nut is a locking-style nut and is not intended to be used during mock-up. Attempting to thread, remove, and re-thread the lock nut may cause damage to the "T-Bolt" section of the clamp. In some cases, excessive force can damage and/or break the "T-Bolt" section of the 2" exhaust v-band clamp. If you intend to use our clamps during the mock-up process please use a non-locking hex nut.

Ace Race Parts is not responsible for damage caused to our clamps due to the use of the locking-style nut during mock-up or removal. The thread pitch of our hex nuts, lock nuts and the threaded portion of the "T-Bolt" section of the clamp is 6mm (1/4"-28 fine thread).

The photo of the three types of nuts includes a nylon lock nut. This type of nut is not always supplied with our v-bands. The two main types of nuts supplied with each v-band assembly or clamp is the metal non-locking hex nut (finish hex nut) and the metal lock nut.
